Who Am I?

          I have an exceptionally strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others, and find great personal fulfillment interacting with people, nurturing their personal development, guiding them to realize their human potential. Although I am happy working at jobs (such as writing) that require solitude and close attention, I do quite well with individuals or groups of people, provided that the personal interactions are not superficial, and that I find some quiet, private time every now and then to recharge my batteries. I am both kind and positive in my handling of others; I am a great listener and seem naturally interested in helping people with their personal problems. I am not a usually visible leader and I prefer to work intensely with those close to me, especially on a one-to-one basis, quietly exerting my influence behind the scenes.
          I represent little more than one percent of the population, and can be hard to get to know, since I tend not to share my innermost thoughts or my powerful emotional reactions except with my loved ones. I am a highly private person, with an unusually rich, complicated inner life. Friends or colleagues who have known me for years may find sides emerging which come as a surprise. Not that I am flighty or scattered; I value my integrity with a great deal, but I have mysterious, intricately woven personalities which sometimes puzzles me.
          I tend to work effectively in organizations. I value staff harmony and make every effort to help an organization run smoothly and pleasantly. I understand and use human systems creatively, and I am good at consulting and cooperating with others. I am concerned with people's feelings and are able to act as a barometer of the feelings within the organization.
          Blessed with vivid imaginations, I often am seen as the most poetical of all the types, and in fact I use a lot of poetic imagery in my everyday language. My great talent for language-both written and spoken-is usually directed toward communicating with people in a personalized way. I am highly intuitive and can recognize another's emotions or intentions - good or evil - even before that person is aware of them. I myself can seldom tell how I come to read others' feelings so keenly. This extreme sensitivity to others could very well be the basis of my remarkable ability to experience a whole array of psychic phenomena.
